Will you join the challenge?

Prayer is vital as we wage war against evil.

On Sunday, Pastor Josh launched us into a four week campaign that will carry us through the duration of our series, The Invisible Enemy. Satan will do whatever he can to distract, discourage and diminish the believer. But we can fight back. And we can do it with prayer.

Over the next four weeks we are praying every day, by name, for someone in our church family. That’s 28 people you will lift up. Pray for those in your life group or serve team, church staff and leadership or meet someone new!  And then, over the next four Sundays when you’re at worship, find someone to pray for —out loud!  Yes, we are asking you to walk up to someone and ask to pray for them. Trust that venturing beyond your comfort zone with prayer can profoundly impact you and others. Just imagine what God will do in our church family over the next four weeks!

The bracelets are our gift to you and they serve as your daily reminder to Retaliate with Prayer.  If you don’t have a bracelet, they will be in the lobby again this Sunday. Don’t want to wait? Drop by the church office this week (Tuesday - Thursday between the hours of 9 am-3 pm)  and pick one up.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  Ephesians 6:12
