Children at Crossroads Kids are promoted to the next grade level at the end of the school year, with promotion announced at the start of summer. This helps ensure that children are in age-appropriate classrooms as they advance in school.

To participate in Wednesday night programming (Kids4Truth), Vacation Bible School (VBS), and similar events, children must be at least 4 years old and fully potty trained.

We focus on positive reinforcement, redirection, and teaching respect for others. If disruptive behavior occurs, we will first give a verbal reminder, then redirect the child, and if needed, provide a brief time away from the group. Persistent issues will be discussed with parents and could potentially result in removal from the program.

Please keep your child at home if they have had a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea in the past 24 hours, or if they are exhibiting symptoms like excessive coughing or an unexplained rash. Children should be symptom-free for at least 24 hours before returning to Crossroads Kids.

We use KidCheck for a secure check-in process. You will receive matching identification stickers for you and your child. You must present your matching tag at check-out for your child to be released. KidCheck also allows us to notify the parent who checked the child in during the service if needed.

All volunteers are background-checked and must have been involved with our church ministry for at least six months. They also attend training sessions as part of our NextGen guidelines to ensure they are prepared to care for our children. Security cameras are active in all of our children and youth spaces for the protection of both our children and volunteers.
