Why We Give

We practice generous giving to follow Christ's teaching, to acknowledge all we have comes from God, to affirm our trust in His hand in every aspect of our lives, and to advance the Kingdom on Earth.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

2 Corinthians 9:7

On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.

1 Corinthians 16:2

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

James 1:5

Grow in Generosity

Since you excel in so many ways—in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us— I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving.
