Dear Junior High Parents & Guardians,

With the recent launch our new KidCheck electronic check-in system, we want to help make Wednesday nights as smooth and efficient as possible. Below are a few simple steps you can take to speed up check-in and avoid unnecessary delays in the lobby.

Step 1: Create Your KidCheck Account Ahead of Time

If you have not yet checked in using KidCheck, please create your parent account in advance at:

Once your account is set up and your student(s) are added, check-in becomes very quick. When you arrive, you’ll simply:
  • Enter your phone number
  • Select the student(s) you are checking in (including friends you are pre-authorized to drop off)
  • Confirm and finish
Step 2: Add Approved Guardians Before Wednesday

If another parent, friend's parent, or guardian may drop off your student at any point during the year, please be sure to add them as an authorized guardian in KidCheck ahead of time.

This is important because:
  • The parent who arrives and checks in will see all students they are authorized to drop off when they enter their phone number.  They should not be creating a new/second account for that child.
  • If a friend’s parent is dropping off your child, they must already be listed as an approved guardian in your account for check-in to work smoothly.
Important Reminder About Responsibility

The parent or guardian who checks students in on a given night is considered the responsible adult for those students during that gathering.

This means:
  • They will be the first point of contact in case of an emergency
  • They will be contacted if a student needs to be picked up early due to illness or behavioral concerns

Please plan accordingly when coordinating rides.

Optional (Fastest Option): Use the KidCheck App & Express Check
For the fastest possible experience, parents may:
  • Download the KidCheck App on their phone
  • Use the Express Check Hub in the lobby
With Bluetooth enabled, this allows you to:
  • Skip the line entirely
  • Have student name tags automatically print as soon as you arrive
