My elderly Christian parents lived with my family so we could help care for them. I lost my dad just before Christmas 2024. I found him while I was sleeping in next room and getting up every 2 hours to medicate him. I found him deceased. Laying beside of my mom. I had to wake her and tell her he was gone. My mom took a fall about a year ago and had been on oxygen. Earlier this month she became shortness of breath when with oxygen so I took her to er where we learned she had a heart attack and her heart was functioning at only 20% and damage was done to liver and kidneys. They tried very hard to get her to agree to angiogram and other procedures in which she refused. She didn't want us to go through what she did as she was caregiver for my dad. She told the Drs. That she believed this was God calling her home. We got my son in Flagstaff to come down my other 3 kids were here and their spouses along with my husband. They allowed 11 of us in ICU my son made it by noon. She was alert talked with each person. Told stories and laughed. Itt was as perfect as itt could have been for the situation. I held her hand and she went to bed with Jesus at 4 10

She said she was ready. She spent her days watching sermons writing thoughts and bites and some beautiful poems. Her faith was beautiful. It's been so very hard on family since this all happened so fast. She had just had ekg and cardio ultrasound getting results June 1 and Dr. Was not immediately concerned with anything. Please pray for my family and for me. Now I'm a new empty nester after having 4 kids then losing both parents I am now at home alone all day in this big house. I do involve myself with some local charity work. Also trying to help her 4 yr old dog thru her greif and I have a 9 yrs old dog I'm trying to get a new routine for everyone.
