Our new granddaughter, 5 month old Addie, has plates in her skull that prematurely closed causing what’s called Sagittal Synostosis. To remedy, this the surgeons, both Neuro and Plastic, will need to make some cuts in her skull to allow the brain to continue growing and shaping normally. The process is between 2-4 hours, with anywhere between 1-3 days in the ICU after. The surgery date is set for March 13th. Addie's parents are Ryan and Ariel.
